BALLS, big, raw, fudgey, cacao-y BALLS

Recipe: Makes roughly 20 balls

1 cup of majool dates (pits removed)

1/4 cup of raw cacao

2 tablespoons of coconut oil melted

1/2 cup of raw nuts (we like to use almonds)

1 tablespoon 99th Monkey Salted Natural Peanut Butter or any brand or any nut butter

Coconut for rolling

Chia seeds for rolling

The Mrs Its All Good Chunks crumbs for rolling

Method:

Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and mix until well combined, this will take at least 3-4 minutes depending on your machine, if you’re using a blender, you will need to stop and scrape down the sides a couple of time. At this stage I like to put the mix into the fridge for approximately 20 minutes to firm up a little before rolling but you can go straight into rolling if prefer.

When rolling the mixture into balls I’m pretty OCD and like to weigh them out to be 30g balls. Roll a third of the balls in each, the coconut, chia and chunk crumbs, I like them to be uniform 😀 OR if you’re like my partner and just want to get them done you can just roll them and have some big, some small, some baseball sized and some pea sized, just as long as they taste good 😀

Store in the fridge in an airtight container
